Our Story

Have you ever had blue hoof moments in your life? Those times when you feel different from everyone else? Marvelous Moosey, a moose with blue hooves, literally came to us out of the blue and nudged us in the most gentle way to help him find others just like him in the world. And that’s our mission. Find people like you, to adopt Moosey, take him with you wherever you go and look for other moose with blue hooves. When that connection is made and friendships are developed, we hope you’ll share your experiences and post your pictures and videos on your social media pages for all to see. 

When Steve blows his nose, he sounds like a moose, so one day Dawn spied a plush moose and bought it for him as a gift. It brought a smile to his face and Moosey, as he lovingly became known, started taking on a life of his own. Steve or Dawn would pose Moosey in everyday situations and wait for the other to come home and find him. One day he was baking a cake, on another painting his hooves or hiding in a suitcase. One day, he was even seen swinging from a ceiling fan.  With each antic, Moosey became a part of the family and even gained a group of fans on Facebook.

Then Steve and Dawn had an epiphany. Or was it a coincidence, happenstance or a “Godwink”? Why not create their own moose character and develop ways for children and adults alike to incorporate him into their everyday lives to bring more laughter and joy wherever he goes. Thus began the creation of our business, Marvelous Moosey Adventures. Our passion is to develop a character and brand that brings joy to children and to those who remain young at heart. And to remind the world that being Unique is Marvelous.
